Water Poles Early one morning while visiting the Bahamas I was struck by the wonderful patterns and colours conjured up by the jetty poles reflecting in the harbour water and took this picture ...it’s one of my personal favourites.

Shock Waves As I walked along the cliff tops on the SW coast of Portugal, I watched local fishermen risk their lives as they hung over cliff edges to catch Seabass. I focused on the lovely soft whites and blues of the crashing waves. I remember admiring the sea's beauty and strength but also fearful of what might happen if one of those precariously placed men should lose their grip.

Depth The Embankment tube station stairs. I love how the light reflects the colours leading to the tunnels for humans to burrow down and travel in an underground world.

Slick This is called slick not because it is an oil slick but because the finished image reminded me of one - in fact it was taken in the wonderful clean Northshore waters North of Sydney in Australia.

Turquoise China With blues and turquoises being my favourite colours I was blown away by the colours of the pools we found in the Juizhaigou Valley in Sechuan in Western China - I took many many photos as everywhere you looked was a photographers dream.

Silver Shafts Looking up while walking the city is something we rarely do. This beautiful polished stainless steel building showing off it's metal skeleton commanded my attention.

Flattering I have a lovely story about these buildings in Battersea which I captured while walking my dog one stormy evening. I was exhibiting the finished piece and a young girl walked in and said, "Oh My God I live there, how did you make it look so nice?"

Pedestrian 1 & 2 I took these pictures through the corner of a glass building in the city of London. I love the almost monochrome image, comparable to a zebra crossing.

GLA Strong and sculptural - An incredible building in it’s own right - I was asked to design a picture using the City Hall for a lady who was looking for a picture as a special gift for her husband’s anniversary present as he had been involved in it’s construction.

Aloe Aloe These Aloe Vera flowers were growing out of the side of a rock on the coast in the Algarve in Portugal. It seemed to me that the flowers were stretching out for space and freedom in contrast to their trapped roots stuck in the rocks.

Double Wheelies I have taken many pictures of the London Eye from strange angles and this one particularly appeals to me. I love the criss cross lines and shapes of the spaces in between. Red flecks from the people on board contrast with the pales greys and silvers of the metallic structure.

Lamp Lines Yes there are red taxis in London and I was lucky enough to find these lined up and reflected in the glass of the window and couldn’t resist. This is actually a colour photograph but in the dark the only colours visible were the white lamp lights striking lines on the black surface water of Sydney Harbour.

Biking Reflections I came across these fifty or so motorbikes parked so tightly that they were almost entangled. When I played around in the studio with the image I was amazed to see heart shapes and thought it ironic that my first fascination with the subject of entanglement brought another perspective   - the entanglement of love.

Pond Life Pond Life emerged as I re-worked a photograph I took of a pond in China. Reflections from the leaves above and the fish at different depths below allowed me to achieve this intriguing multilayered picture.

Funnel I think of this image as a money funnel - I took it in the ‘city’ amongst all the huge finance buildings, amid the throng of smart suited ambitious youngsters with money on their mind.
